You know what god is another superstition like the sun is moving around an Earth.
Let me tell you one interesting story from my childhood. My grandparents and parents believe in god and they do prayer on daily basis. And like father like son, I started to do it.
While playing in summer vacation one of the statues got broken from my side. I got frightened for many days that something will happen to me. But nothing happened and god lost power over me.
I started to become neutral towards religious rituals, functions (only do enjoy food). And lost total interest in god or similar kinds of beliefs. Later when I started reading books by Osho which brought me more awareness.
Recently, I was telling my brother the same story. He mentioned the explanation from Erich von Däniken (Book - Chariots of the Gods) that if our scientist went to another planet. And there is life sustainable and consider people do exist there. But they are not as advanced as we are in technology, skills. Our scientists communicated with them and told them many things like farming, medicine. And went back. Then those people will think someone from the sky came and told them what to do.
The same scenario can happen on the Earth and that's how people started believing in god.
The book by Erich Von Daniken looks interesting needs to add to the reading list.
May be aliens do exists . . .
